About to WHCS 2027
The 2027 International Conference on World History and Civilization will be held in Xining, China. The conference will focus on the world's historical process, the evolution of civilizations, and regional cultural exchanges. It will pay attention to the interaction between different civilizations, as well as the significant value of historical documents, cultural heritage, and social memory in the study of civilizations. Xining is located in the northeastern part of the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau and has a historical background of multiple ethnic groups and regional cultures intersecting. It has unique regional characteristics in terms of Sino-South Asian cultural exchanges, ethnic history, and regional civilization research. The conference will cover directions such as world ancient history, medieval history, modern history, regional history, civilization comparison, historical documents, archaeological research, cultural heritage, ethnic history, and cross-cultural exchanges. At the same time, it will also pay attention to the application of digital humanities, historical databases, and digital technologies in historical research. The conference will conduct in-depth discussions through special topic discussions, academic exchanges, and sharing of research results, focusing on issues such as the formation of civilizations, historical changes, cultural dissemination, and heritage protection. It aims to promote academic interactions among different historical research directions and further expand the multi-perspective view of world history and civilization research, providing new spaces for academic exchanges and research cooperation in related fields.

All full paper submissions to the WHCS 2027 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of WHCS 2027 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to whcs@metting-cloud.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
